Lithium-Ion Battery Awareness Group was formed to educate people about it and to better understand the sudden rise in demand. There is a push from government to move to this kind of “Green Energy” and I know this is the future but at to what cost.
There is a need for further study about the short-term and long-term effects of these batteries to the surrounding areas, to nature, to animals, and to communities.
It is important to learn the benefits and risks associated with these lithium plants being so close to our homes. Also, since these are so new, companies are jumping in to reap big profits with very little research. And there is little to no regulation with regard to people’s safety.
Please join our group to learn more about this emerging industry so we can learn about the 95 acre plant they have proposed in our back yard
